last weekend, kara participated in the Art of the Game fashion installation next door at Hot Italian. designers were given a jersey from one of the teams competing in the World Cup and asked to incorporate it in some way into an original outfit. yay for kara and team portugal!
this saturday we will be part of SNR's Third Saturday, showing a lovely jumble of vintage and handmade clothing and jewelry in a fashion show. the show takes place between 3 and 4pm, but you might want to come early to check out the bands that play (i am totally biased since i am friendly with family members of theirs, but go see Walking Spanish!). more info on the event is here
finally, looking toward august (and the end of summer and almost fall---how'd that happen?!), we'll bring a little slice of crimson & clover up to nevada city for the renegade craft fair.
