like a kid in a candy store...

last weekend we participated in sacramento news and review's 3rd saturday event at downtown plaza.  we ended up with nine models, all super duper lovely.  the best part was that 7 of the 9 were girls who shop at crimson & clover!
we wanted to take some photos of the girls before the show, and the sweet factory candy shop that neighbored the changing room tent was nice enough to let us take photos inside.  we thought all the bright candy colors were perfect with the summer fashions we were showing.  (thanks again, sweet factory employees!)

this is where i apologize to a couple of girls who i don't have individual show photos of....it was not any fault of yours, but rather my poor timing at snapping the photos (i think i was having a little too much fun singing along and hooting for you all).  what did they walk to, you ask?  why, "crimson and clover", of course (the original spacy chill tommy james and the shondells version).

we want to thank thank thank our lovely and generous models for their time, beauty, and bravery!  and another thank you to snr for inviting us to be a part of the day!

after the show, kara and i landed back at the shop, and a nice guy who writes for sacramento press came by.  he'd attended the day's events, and with "crimson and clover" still running through his head (yes!  it worked, bwahh ha ha), he stopped by to say hello.  you can check out his article and photos here.

and one of our devoted c&c supporters also took in 3rd saturday's events, and she blogged about it here.  she also went shopping at c&c last week with a friend and wrote about it here.  thanks, rq!
