we hope everyone had a happy holiday season! we have spent the first days of this new year working on the shop and planning future improvements :)  just in the past week, we have rearranged sections, added loads of fresh-from-estates midcentury hats and purses (with more to come), and priced a new batch of one-of-a-kind rings.

this week we had the pleasure of meeting yvonne and her friend, june, who brought to the shop much of yvonne's wardrobe from the 1950s-1970s. she was hoping that we might be able to find good homes for her old clothes....we think we can make that possible ;)

whether the thermometer is cooperating or not, Fall has arrived. the bathing suits have been put in storage for the season in order to make room for other goodies.  as promised, we have begun to unleash the Fall/Winter pieces we have been storing for months. above are photos of just some of the new stock put out in the last week.  and there's so much more to come....

wish we had remembered to take more pictures, but here is just a tiny peek at what was the first annual Vintage and Vines event at Oak Farm Vineyards in Lodi, Ca

it was a sweet little evening of fashion, local wines, and fresh appetizers.

 Sacramento was well-represented by three local boutiques (ours plus Vintage YSJ and Fringe) and a trio of bloggers (hey girls!). we had the pleasure of seeing a few of our regular shoppers and made many new friends, too.

the event is going annual, so we will keep you posted when another rolls around.
